Meet the monster crew!
Zoe Burgess-Foreman is the Chairman and Terato Con is their brainchild. An author and artist of Queer Cosmic horror, Monster boys, and tentacle yaoi, they also hold two Masters specialising in areas of Japanese Creative Industries in particular, pornography and anime media. They also host a Monster Lover Movie podcast and host panels on queer and monster rep in media at various conventions.

Claire Cartwright is the treasurer and cat-herder-in-chief. Claire isn’t involved in the monster romance genre, but enjoys organising people and events. They are our resident in-house accounting technician and fiction editor.
Tim Mendees is the sound tech minion and general gopher. An author of weird fiction and cosmic horror with several collections and novellas under his belt. He is the co-host of three podcasts, one of which, The Monster in My Bed, is dedicated to monster romance cinema which he co-hosts with Zoe. Tim is also the lead vocalist in gothic-rock band Grooving in Green.

Becca Jones is the social media bunny and website wrangler. She came aboard in 2025 and also helps with the Bath Monster Market, and runs Zoe’s other social media. She is an artist and writer, and specialises in character design and speculative fiction.
